Stunning April conditions met the fleet for day two of the 2021 J70 Australian Championships at Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron on Easter Sunday. Prevailing south-westerly offshore breezes were on the menu day two’s three races, with wind speeds building throughout the afternoon.

Vamos from the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia skippered by Tim Ryan, with his team of Rob Greenhalgh, Charlie Gundy and Jess Grimes lead after a perfect scorecard on day one with three bullets.

CYCA's Reg Lord dominated the inaugural Lowell North Memorial J70 Twilight Regatta hosted by the Squadron on Thursday evenings during October and November. Boats from RSYS, MHYC and CYCA contested the eight race series held over four evenings.
