RSYS One Design Twilight Sprints

Held over four weeks the RSYS One Design Twilight Sprints took advantage of the longer daylight hours and a relatively clear harbour for the opportunity for some additional racing. The format was two windward leeward races each afternoon from 1745hrs, and each race also incorporating a practice start ahead of the actual race start.
The first four races challenged crews sailing in a black nor easter consistently over 20 knots.
Some boats took the opportunity to introduce other sailors to the J/70. Sharing the race track with the Etchells fleet at times introduced additional challenges.
